+++ NOTE: All University buildings are closed at the moment due to the Coronavirus pandemic. +++ The Sir Duncan Rice Library was opened in 2012. Designed by Danish architects Schmidt Hammer Lassen, the £57 million new library is an iconic architectural landmark of North East Scotland. Its eight floors house the largest of the University's modern collections - including Arts, Humanities, Sciences and Social Sciences, and historic collections of rare books, manuscripts and archives in the Special Collections Centre. There are multiple study spaces available to students: - Computer classrooms - Collaborative study spaces - General study spaces - Silent study spaces - Ad hoc study spaces
