Northampton Active was founded in 2019 with the aim to provide unique and adventurous activities to the community, businesses and schools. As well as providing a venue for skill development and social gatherings. The Northampton Active Whitewater Centre was the UK’s first pumped, artificial whitewater course. Three pumps control the flow of water down the 300 metre whitewater course allowing the Centre to alter the course’s difficulty and the skill levels required to paddle it. The building has changing rooms and showering facilities, a cafe offering the very best freshly made food, a lift and rooms suitable for both social events and conference bookings. It has ample onsite parking for customers and is wheelchair accessible throughout.
