Die WLB ist ein Theater mit Schauspiel und eigener Sparte für junges Publikum. In beiden Ensembles sind insgesamt 25 Schauspieler*innen fest engagiert. Der Theatersaal verfügt über 460 Plätze. In Podium 1 und 2 finden jeweils 60 bis 75 Zuschauer*innen Platz. Zum laufenden Repertoire kommen pro Spielzeit etwa 20 neue Inszenierungen hinzu. Gespielt werden zeitgenössische Stücke und Klassiker, musikalische Produktionen und Stücke für junges Publikum.
