Die Wasserfreunde Wuppertal 1883 e. V. sind ein Schwimmsportverein mit den Sportarten Schwimmen und Wasserball. In zahlreichen Schwimmkursen bilden wir Nichtschwimmer und Anfänger aus. Wir betreiben unser vereinseigenes Freibad in Wuppertal. Das Freibad verfügt über ein in 2023 neu errichtetes 50 x 20 m Sportbecken, ein neu errichtetes Babybecken, einen Beachvolleyballplatz, Tischtennisplatten, Basketballplatz und einen Bolzplatz, sowie einen Kinderspielplatz.
