相馬樓は、江戸時代より料亭「相馬屋」として賑わっていました。現在残る木造の主屋は、明治27年の庄内大震災の大火で焼失した直後、残った土蔵を取り囲んで建てられたもので、平成8年に11月、国の登録文化財建造物に指定されました。現在は相馬楼で酒田舞娘の踊りをみることができるほか、酒田市の文化情報のＰＲ等に貢献しています。相馬楼の2階大広間では酒田舞娘の踊りを観賞し、食事を楽しむことや、一日一組の結婚式もできます。一階は売店やお休み処がありお菓子付きの抹茶等で疲れをほぐして頂くこともできます。また、竹久夢二美術館も併設しています。 ※館内は靴下要着用でお願いいたします。
