De plek waar het ruim 45 jaar geleden allemaal is begonnen: Loetje Amsterdam Café aan de Johannes Vermeerstraat in Amsterdam Zuid. In 1977 door Ludwig ‘Loetje’ Klinkhamer opgericht als biljartcafé. Toen de inmiddels beroemde ossenhaasbiefstuk op het menu kwam, verdwenen de biljarttafels al snel naar de achtergrond en werd hier geschiedenis geschreven. Tegenwoordig kun je nog steeds elke dag bij Loetje Amsterdam Café genieten van de lekkerste biefstuk van Amsterdam.
