The Battle of Britain Historical Society oversee this a memorial sculpture dedicated to The Battle of Britain. But not only are the RAF represented but also the civilians who in 1940 helped the RAF achived victory.The 2937 names of pilots are on the memorial and are known as The Few .In 2025 will be the 20th Anniversary of the unveiling of the Battle of Britain monument in September significantly coinciding with the 85th Anniversary of The Battle of Britain.
