The Goddard Arms is a friendly hotel located right in the heart of Swindon's Old Town. The Old Town itself, which includes our building and the surrounding areas are full of rich history. The Goddard Arms is an old converted Coaching Inn where horse-drawn coaches used to change horses en route to their next destination.We are also right next door to the beautiful 50 acre Lawns Park which was once the estate of the Goddard family and where the name of our hotel comes from.
