The Texas Military Forces Museum is located in Building 6 on Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas. The GPS address is 3038 W.35th St. We are open on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We tell the story of the military forces of the State of Texas from 1823 to the present day. This includes the volunteer forces of the Texas Revolution, state forces during the Civil War, and after 1903 the story of the Texas National Guard, to include the Army, Air and State Guard up to the present day.
