Venue description

The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is part of the Botanic Gardens of Sydney. Established in 1816, it is Australia's oldest botanic garden. The Garden is situated across 30 hectares on the edge of the iconic Sydney Harbour and is one of Sydney’s top attractions for tourism and leisure. The Garden provides visitors with places for picnics, weddings, walking and relaxing. On-site visitors will find a visitor centre and shop, dining, themed gardens and one of the largest green walls in the southern hemisphere inside The Calyx. Entry is free and the Garden is open every day of the year. The Garden runs several tours and events (paid and free), and people are encouraged to visit the Botanic Gardens of Sydney website to learn more before visiting.
