Venue description

NOTE: The Rooftop Terrace is currently closed for renovations. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Moshe Safdie in conjunction with VCBO Architecture, the Main Library opened in February 2003 and remains one of Utah’s most architecturally unique structures. The 240,000 square-foot building offers resources to meet a variety of public needs, including spaces appropriate for use in hosting business meetings or wedding receptions, while a 300-seat auditorium facilitates Library and community events. Natural light and stunning views are prevalent at the Main Library. The Urban Room, with its five-story tall glass ceilings — and the southern-facing Glass Lens — offer views of Salt Lake City and Library Square.
