Venue description

Welcome to the public face of the Nobel Peace Prize. Explore the world’s most prestigious prize and be inspired by the people who change the world! Through exhibitions and events you will learn about Alfred Nobel, the history of the Peace Prize and the recipients of the prize since 1901. Your visit contributes to giving hope a voice. Located at Oslo City Hall Square, in a converted 1872 train station, the Nobel Peace Center is the museum about the Nobel Peace Prize. Through our exhibitions, guided tours, events, education programs, and digital content, we disseminate laureates’ work, build knowledge and skills, and act as a meeting place to facilitate discussions related to peace, human rights, and conflict resolution.
