Venue description

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum, also known as the LBJ Presidential Library, is the presidential library and museum of Lyndon Baines Johnson, the 36th President of the United States. It is one of 14 presidential libraries administered by the National Archives and Records Administration and located on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin. Through interactive exhibitions with historical and cultural artifacts, visitors have the opportunity to experience the life and times of LBJ, one of our nation's most fascinating presidents, and the era of his administration—the turbulent 1960s. The library is open daily (except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day), 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with last admission at 4:00 p.m.
