"This is the Place" if you are interested in dinosaurs. The BYU Museum of Paleontology is built around a vast collection of dinosaurs and other fossils, primarily from Utah and Colorado. Take a walk back into deep time to gaze on some of the latest dinosaur discoveries in the exhibit halls and peer into the paleontology lab as students extract recently collected bones from their stony matrix. In addition to dinosaurs, learn about the giant ground sloths, musk ox, horses, and other mammals that lived along the shores of Utah's Ice Age Lake Bonneville tens of thousands of years ago.
