Venue description

Randolph Walker Park holds a distinguished place in the history of New York cricket and tennis. This property was once the grounds of the Staten Island Cricket and Tennis Club, and the first national tennis tournament was allegedly played here in 1880. Many cricket legends played here before the grounds were sold in 1925. Walker Park remains a destination park for athletes today. The park remains one of the most popular cricket grounds in the city, and tennis players can enjoy this historic setting. Other popular sports, such as baseball, basketball, and soccer are now played here as well. A small playground and toddler swings allow younger kids to get active as well.
