Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries (DCL&G) - a museum, gallery spaces, cafe, shop and reading rooms all adjoining the world's 1st Carnegie Library and all with FREE admission. We currently have a major exhibition devoted to the life and work of Sir Joseph Noel Paton. Dunfermline-born artist, illustrator, poet, Painter to Queen Victoria and a contemporary of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, was a towering figure in the Victorian art world (until 9 February 2025) We also have Witches in Word, Not Deed, remembering 13 women wrongly accused and persecuted for witchcraft in Scotland under the Witchcraft Act of 1563 (until 17 November 2024)
