Venue description

The Whaley House, designated as a museum in 1960, is located in Old Town San Diego, California’s Oldest Town. Designed and built by Thomas Whaley, known to be the first two-story brick-constructed property in California back in 1857, it is a beautiful example of Greek Revival architecture and is furnished with curated historical items and original family owned treasures. The Whaley House also served as San Diego’s first commercial theater, a general store and the second County Courthouse. Worldwide known as the Most Haunted House in America, it is recognized for its historical significance in Old Town San Diego.
