東京国立近代美術館(MOMAT)は、皇居のほど近くに建つ、日本で最初の国立美術館です。最大の特徴は、重要文化財18点を含む13,000点を超える国内最大級のコレクション。19世紀末から今日まで多数の名作を、海外の作品もまじえて所蔵しています。会期ごとに選りすぐりの約200 点を展示する所蔵作品展「MOMAT コレクション」(4-2階所蔵品ギャラリー)は、100年を超える日本近現代美術の歴史を一気にご覧いただける国内随一の展示です。周辺には皇居、北の丸公園、千鳥ヶ淵など豊かな自然と日本文化を感じられる環境が広がり、来館と併せての散策もおすすめです。 MOMAT is Japan’s first national art museum and is located across from the Imperial Palace. The museum is home to one of Japan’s largest art collections, comprising a total of over 13,000 items, including countless masterpieces dating from the end of the 19th century to the present day by both Japanese and foreign artists. The collection exhibition is one of the foremost exhibitions in Japan, offering insight into more than a century of Japanese art in a single venue.
