We’re proud that 3 generations of our family have been serving freshly cooked fish and chips to the residents and visitors of Whitstable since 1962. Viv and Joyce moved to Whitstable in 1962, bringing with them more generations’ fish and chip expertise from south-London. Madeline and Viv (Viv Snr’s son) have been running the business since the 1980s and their children Dan, Matt and Sam work in the business now. As one of the last fish and chip shops in the south of England to fry in beef dripping, we're proud to maintain traditional pre-war traditions but also accept and understand that our cooking methods might not connect with the views of some parts of our diverse society.
