Eat Clean was the brainchild of Asu, Momin and Shakil, in an effort to provide a tasty, healthy alternative to traditional "takeaway" meals. The concept of taking the food away, in addition to eating on the premises, was to appeal to the busy, professional customer base, whose fast-paced lifestyle promotes an "eat on the go" philosophy. In the wake of a national "healthy eating" campaign, Asu and his team developed a comprehensive menu which included chicken, fish, and red meat, cooked with fragrant spices, and served with healthy side dishes of vegetables, pulses, spices and herbs, catering for every palate, along with natural healthy smoothies, fruit juices and coffees to wash it all down.
