Yoshiyasu Yanagisawa, a close aide of the fifth Shogun Tsunayoshi, constructed a townhouse which has a beautifully developed garden in the field that he received. The garden was named after Rikugi of “Shikyo” (poetry). This pond garden with small artificial hills is in the go around style, which adopted the style of Katsura Rikyu’s garden. It is designated as a special beauty spot.
