The Thomas Edison Depot Museum is located in the historic Fort Gratiot Depot buuilt by the Grand Trunk Railway in 1858. This is the building where a young Thomas Edison worked as a "news butcher" selling newspapers and candy to passengers riding between the depot and Detroit. The museum features interactive exhibits, inviting visors to become participants in the famed inventor's inspiring story, all while you learn about Edison's life and inventions in one of the most unique and historic structures in the area. Open weekends in Spring and Fall, Daily June through August.
