Venue description

The Natural History Museum houses the oldest, furriest, fastest and laziest inhabitants of our diverse planet as well as many other current and past creatures. How big were mammoths, what is the life of beavers like, and what kind of paths has life evolved along? Our permanent exhibitions are Finnish Nature, World Nature, History of Life, Story of the Bones and Change in the Air. In addition, the museum has temporary exhibitions. The Natural History Museum is located right in the centre of Helsinki. The building is easily identified by the elk statue. When was the last time you stopped at the feet of a dinosaur or listened to sounds of African night? You can book a guide as a travel companion. We accept Museum card.
