Venue description

Opening in 2000 on the lower floors of the former Canal museum, the Canalhouse is famous for having a canal that extends into the grade II listed building, complete with resident narrow boats. When the sun shines, you’ll find our beautiful canalside beer garden full of happy customers. Our aim is to offer the best beer experience possible, with one of the largest selections of beer in the East Midlands. The Canalhouse currently offers over 250 beers from around the world in bottle and can, alongside up to 6 real ales and 10 keg beers. On the bar you’ll also find a large selection of wines and spirits and up to 6 real ciders. The Canalhouse was one of just two UK venues selected for the brand new Duvel on Tap.
