Venue description
Water access is dangerous and not permitted at this site due to location below Morris Dam and the sudden changes in current from flow releases year-round. Azusa Wilderness Park is home to the offices of the Rivers and Mountains Conservancy (RMC) and the Watershed Conservation Authority (WCA). Located just beyond the end of the 38-mile San Gabriel River trail, this is the future site of a planned trail extension and larger park in development. The site also serves as a river overlook and trailhead for a service road accessible to the public with scenic views of the lower San Gabriel River Canyon.
