È collocato dal 1928 al terzo piano di Ca’ Pesaro per una convenzione tra lo Stato, proprietario della raccolta, e il Comune di Venezia, proprietario dell’immobile. The Museum of Oriental Art in Venice is one of the largest collections of Japanese art from the Edo period (1603-1868) in Europe and also houses a Chinese section and a room dedicated to Indonesian area. Since 1928, it has been located on the third floor of Ca' Pesaro thanks to an agreement between the State, which owns the collection, and the City of Venice, which owns the building
