Add a BestTime widget to your website

Copy once, paste into your website builder, and publish. Your widget displays the venue's weekly visitor patterns and updates automatically.

Get your widget's embed code

Start here

  1. Create or select a widget in Your widgets.
  2. Click Copy embed code and copy the complete HTML snippet.
  3. Follow your platform's instructions below, save, and check the published page on desktop and mobile.

The snippet is an iframe, which displays your BestTime widget inside your page. No API key is needed. Use an HTML or embed block, not a code-display block that prints the snippet as text.

Your account includes one free widget by default. To add more than your included allowance, choose a package subscription. Your website builder may have separate plan requirements for embeds.

WordPress

  1. Edit your page or post.
  2. Add a Custom HTML block and paste the complete widget snippet.
  3. Preview, then update or publish the page.

On self-hosted WordPress, your role or security plugins may strip iframe code. Ask your site administrator if the widget disappears after saving. WordPress.com requires a paid plan with hosting features activated for iframe code.

Other blogs and HTML websites

Look for a Custom HTML or Embed code option in your editor. Paste the complete snippet and publish. For a manually coded site, put the snippet in the page body where you want the widget. Platforms that strip iframe tags cannot display the widget directly; link to your published widget instead.

If the widget does not appear

  • Open it from BestTime first and check that its status is Online.
  • Check that it is within your account allowance and has not been deleted.
  • Use the complete snippet, including its HTTPS address and sandbox settings.
  • Increase the embed container's height if content is clipped. Start with the supplied 570 pixels and check on mobile.
  • Try the published page; some editors hide external embeds in editing mode.
  • If your site uses a Content Security Policy, ask its administrator to allow frames from https://besttime.app.

Source credit near the widget is appreciated but optional. You can copy the credit snippet from the widget's management page.
