Bought by the Dineen family in the 1960s, it was previously known as The Caheragh Bar. The Dineen’s grandson Tom Barry took over the establishment in the 1980s. Tom, for over 30 years, built up the pub to what it is today. He sadly passed away in 2015 and is survived by his partner Aideen O’Sullivan and their children Autumn and Axl Barry.
