松山城本丸へは、歩いて登る4つのルートがありますが、8合目までロープウェイまたはリフトを利用するルートが人気です。リフト運行区間は山麓駅「東雲口」～山頂駅「長者ヶ平」で、ロープウェイで約3分、リフトなら約6分で到着します。そこから徒歩10分ほどで天守に到着。登城道を利用する場合は、約20～30分かかります。また、松山城山ロープウェイ東雲口駅舎1階には、松山観光コンベンション協会による観光案内所が設置されていますので、観光情報を得るのにとても便利です。

道後温泉本館の近くには、姉妹湯の「椿の湯」があります。 その昔、聖徳太子が行啓されたとき、椿が枝をさしかわすように生い茂っている当時の温泉郷の見事な光景を、まるで天寿国にいるようであるとたたえていて、椿の湯は、この聖徳太子のことばに起源をもち、その名が付けられたもので、昭和28年「第8回国体」が松山で開かれたときに新設しました。 昭和59年に改築された後、平成29年の施設改修を経て現在に至っていますが、今でも生活には欠かすことのできない公衆浴場として、多くの市民の皆さまに愛されています。
