Het Nationaal Indië-monument 1945-1962 is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan de ruim 6.200 Nederlandse militairen die in de periode tussen 1945 en 1962 in het voormalig Nederlands-Indië of in Nieuw-Guinea zijn omgekomen. Het monument is onthuld op 7 september 1988 door Zijne Koninklijke Hoogheid Prins Bernhard. De jaarlijkse herdenking is sinds 2010 altijd op de eerste zaterdag van september.
