The Center for Wooden Boats is a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit maritime museum located on South Lake Union in Seattle, WA, as well as within Cama Beach State Park on Camano Island. The Center provides woodworking, boatbuilding, sailing and other maritime skills programs, as well as extensive youth programs, charters and boat rentals. Our mission is to promote northwest maritime heritage through education, interpretation and hands-on experience in building, maintaining and using historic small craft, as well as to maintain a thriving community that creates equitable access to empowering maritime experiences. Admission to the Center for Wooden Boats is always free.
