The London Eye has the same daily shape all week. Our forecast runs from 11 AM to 5 PM on every day. The first hour is always the quietest, and busyness climbs into the early or mid afternoon.

On Tuesday, busyness goes from 35% at 11 AM to 55% from 2 PM to 4 PM. Monday and Wednesday follow the same path, from 40% at 11 AM to 60% at 2 PM and 3 PM. Thursday peaks a little later, at 65% at 3 PM.

The weekend climb is steeper. On Saturday, busyness rises from 65% at 11 AM to 90% at 1 PM and 100% at 3 PM and 4 PM. It is still at 90% at 5 PM. On Sunday the peak comes earlier, at 70% from 1 PM to 3 PM, and eases to 60% by 5 PM.

What the London Eye itself advises. The official site recommends arriving at opening for the shortest queues, or riding late in the evening after dark, which it says is much quieter than the afternoon. Our forecast agrees on the morning: the first forecast hour, 11 AM, is the quietest every day.

Weekdays average 55% and the weekend averages 80%. Saturday averages 90% and holds the busiest slots of the week, Saturday at 3 PM and 4 PM.

Friday already starts to build, averaging 65% and peaking at 75% at 2 PM and 3 PM. Sunday averages the same 65%. If the weekend is your only option, Sunday at 11 AM is at 50%, while Saturday reaches 100% at 3 PM and 4 PM.
